And The Winner Is …

 

 

It’s amazing what you find when you’re exploring an old building. This gem was hidden under a filthy old tarp with just one of its wheels exposed. The owner of the building told me that his father made and raced this car at the Soapbox Derby Nationals in Akron, Ohio in 1937 and finished 3rd!  I’ll bet this was one of the coolest cars in the event!
